Molly’s work as a writer covers the world’s wild places and its inhabitants in all their varying forms.
Her work has appeared in numerous national publications including Backpacker, Outside, Sierra and Afar magazines; National Geographic News, E360* and Global Post websites; Wyoming Public Radio and National Native News, a radio program broadcast throughout the U.S. and Canada. Molly is a Contributing Editor for Climbing magazine, the U.S.’s oldest climbing publication, and co-author of Climbing: Self Rescue published by The Mountaineers Books. In 2008, Molly was awarded Middlebury College’s Environmental Journalism Fellowship. Currently she is a writer-in-residence at Grand Teton National Park’s Murie Center.
